Designed by researchers with experience conducting small animal imaging studies, the PicoPump was inspired from struggles using infusion pumps that were not fully MRI compatible, bulky, and inconvenient.

 

The PicoPump was designed from the ground up to be operable inside the bore of a high-field MRI. With a fully non-magnetic construction and a compact form-factor, it delivers fluid with high precision and minimizes injection line lengths. It can be operated at the animal for priming, and remotely for infusion during scanning.
